EDF Energy in Bristol offers a Finance Industrial Placement, site-based at Aztec West 1000 in Bristol. You will gain hands-on experience in finance while supporting major projects such as Hinkley Point C.

Starting salary is £26,050 per annum for a 12-month placement beginning in September 2027, with a market-leading pension plus benefits. The role develops budgeting, forecasting, reporting and financial controls as part of a skilled team.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.
• Looking to complete a placement year as part of your degree programme.
• Eligible for UK security vetting as per role criteria (UK resident for three of the past five years).

Responsibilities

• Support financial operations on Hinkley Point C and related projects.
• Gain experience across budgeting, forecasting, reporting and financial controls.
• Develop commercial awareness and industry knowledge within a major energy programme.
