Job summary

Places for People is seeking a confident Finance Support Manager to lead a regional team of client finance professionals and own day-to-day financial operations. You will build a capable, knowledgeable team and ensure accurate, timely financial information for clients.

Based in Hoddesdon (EN11 0DR) this is a full-time office-based role. You will collaborate with Property Managers, senior operational leaders, key clients and IT to improve performance and strengthen processes.

Qualifications

• Experience leading and developing a finance team.
• Experience in a high-volume finance environment with focus on accuracy and service.
• Strong communication and ability to produce management information.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate day-to-day financial operations delivering accuracy and timely information.
• Develop a motivated finance team through coaching and performance management.
• Perform quality-control checks on transactions and reporting.
• Monitor performance and prepare management information for stakeholders and Board.
• Manage complex queries and key client relationships professionally.
• Document accounting processes and update user guides.
• Lead projects to improve efficiency, compliance, and use of new systems.
