Commercial Operations is the heartbeat of Hire Space’s operations, managing critical systems and working hands on with our customers to ensure smooth delivery of events. The team owns customer and venue invoicing & payments end-to-end, alongside working with Venues to ensure timely payment of Hire Space’s invoices.
As Finance Operations Lead, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth running and continual improvement of Hire Space’s finance / operations processes. You’ll work alongside our Commercial Operations Associates as a “player-manager”, supporting day-to-day operations while being the go‑to person for complex queries, problem‑solving, and process improvements.
This is a hands‑on team lead role where you’ll combine financial and commercial acumen with strong systems and data skills. You’ll help drive efficiency, accuracy, and insight across our financial administration, reporting, and CRM management, empowering the team to deliver excellent service to our venues, clients, and internal stakeholders.

This is a hybrid remote / in‑person role. Our client base is predominantly in London and it is important that you are able to collaborate with your team, attend ad‑hoc events and attend our away days in‑person.
You can usually expect to be in / around London on average 2‑3 days per week, usually working from our central London office location on Borough High Street.
