Job Description:

We are currently recruiting a Finance Operations Business Partner to partner with the senior operational team, including Regional General Managers, to provide accurate and timely financial metrics supporting the financial performance of multiple depots within a region.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00

• Support the Senior Finance Business Partner in delivering timely, accurate, insightful financial information, including renewals or new business.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, and rolling forecasts for their sites.
• Handle financial customer management, leading monthly reviews and customer packs.
• Produce key financial metrics to support weekly costings commentary, including variance analysis for the senior operations team.
• Lead and present customer profitability analyses to the senior operations team.
• Manage and develop a small finance team (up to 5 Assistant and Management Accountants).
• Support the delivery of monthly management accounts and analyze variances.
• Investigate ways to improve financial reporting efficiency.
• Handle various project tasks as assigned by the General Manager and Senior Finance Business Partner.
• Manage customer debt and update the company cash flow forecast.

Qualifications:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
• Experience in FP&A profession.
• Attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Experience in accounts preparation, including journals, accruals, prepayments, depreciation, and income deferral.
• Proactive in seeking new methods for efficient financial data provision.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Hardworking, flexible, and deadline-oriented.
