Middlesex Learning Partnership is seeking a proactive Finance Officer to join the Trust Finance Team in Hayes, working across schools. You will manage financial transactions, reporting, and controls to support educational excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience in finance, accounting or financial administration.
• Sage Intacct knowledge is desirable.
• Strong numerical and analytical abilities with attention to detail.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Process purchase orders in Sage Intacct with proper authorisation and coding.
• Prepare fortnightly BACS payments following the Scheme of Delegation.
• Administer school charge cards and bursaries; record accurately.
• Handle cashless payments platform setup and reconciliation.
• Raise sales invoices and manage debtors; perform credit control as needed.
• Process, reconcile and bank income across the Trust.
• Respond to finance-related queries from staff and suppliers.
• Maintain accurate financial records and monthly reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly VAT reports and support HMRC compliance.
• Assist the external audit with required information.
