Are you an experienced Finance Officer looking to take the next step in your career? Were recruiting for a Finance Officer with Early Years Funding experience, to join a well-established independent educational institution in Leamington Spa. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a close-knit operations team in a full-time, 100% office-based role.

Duties & Responsibilities

Prepare and manage monthly management accounts and produce reports aligned to departmental budgets.

Submit and reconcile Early Years Funding to the Local Authority and manage related reporting.

Process payroll, pension contributions, and staff expenses accurately and in a timely manner.

Manage income streams including invoicing for school fees and ensuring timely debt collection.

Support the wider finance team with administrative duties, reporting and financial planning.

What Experience is Required

Experience working in a finance role, ideally within an education or childcare environment.

Proficiency with financial systems such as Xero and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Strong organisational skills with a proactive and detail-oriented approach.

Salary & Benefits

Salary : £28,000 per annum

Location

Based in central Leamington Spa, this role is easily commutable from Warwick, Kenilworth, Coventry, Rugby, Stratford-upon-Avon, and Banbury.
