A regional healthcare organization is seeking a Finance Officer to manage an £18M budget for the NIHR Regional Research Delivery Network. This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in managing the Regional Research Delivery Network budget, ensuring funding is delivered efficiently to support high‑quality health and care studies. As Finance Officer, you’ll help shape streamlined financial systems, work closely with diverse stakeholders, and contribute directly to research that benefits patients and communities across the region.
The Finance Officer supports the financial management of the NIHR Regional Research Delivery Network (RRDN), overseeing the dissemination, monitoring and accounting of approximately £18M in annual research delivery funding. Reporting to the Finance Manager, the role ensures transparent, compliant and efficient use of funds in line with Host Organisation Standing Financial Instructions and national NIHR/DHSC guidance.
