We are seeking an experienced and highly organised FinanceOfficer to manage the day-to-day financial operations of the practice. This isa key role supporting the Partners, ensuring robust financial control, accuratereporting, and compliance with NHS and regulatory requirements.

Main duties of the job

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing day-to-day financial transactions, including income and expenditure
  • Maintaining accurate financial records and reconciliations
  • Payroll processing and liaison with external payroll providers
  • Invoicing, payment runs, and credit control
  • Supporting budget preparation, cash flow monitoring, and financial forecasting
  • Preparing financial reports for Partners
  • Liaising with accountants, banks, commissioners, and external bodies
  • Ensuring compliance with NHS financial requirements and internal procedures
