Job summary

Tata Chemicals Europe (TCE) is a leading supplier of sodium carbonate and other products from Cheshire, UK. We are recruiting a Financial Accountant/Finance Manager to coordinate UK financial accounting, period-end reporting, tax, treasury, and related activities within the UK, while liaising with the Global Capability Centre (GCC).

The role focuses on statutory accounts, UK tax compliance, VAT, cash forecasting, and month-end close.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified accountant with at least 5 years post-qualification experience.
• Strong knowledge of UK Corporation Tax and UK/EU VAT.
• Experience drafting UK statutory accounts and good working knowledge of IFRS.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate UK statutory accounts and data for Tata Chemicals Limited group accounts.
• Oversee corporation tax return process and UK VAT returns.
• Manage local UK cash forecasting and bank facilities.
• Provide middle office services for gas and FX hedging.
• Coordinate month-end close with GCC and maintain ownership by UK stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement of finance processes.
