We are seeking a qualified and commercially astute Finance Manager to take responsibility for the effective management of cash, finance, and borrowing facilities across the business. This role ensures all tax obligations are met in full and on time, while supporting operational delivery through high-quality budgeting, forecasting, and reporting to senior management and stakeholders.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, or CA) with around 5+ years’ post-qualification experience who is looking to take the next step in their career within a fast-paced family-owned organisation.

How This Role Supports The Delivery Of Hire Solutions

The Finance Manager plays a key role in maintaining financial stability and providing clear, insightful reporting to support both operational and strategic decisions. You’ll oversee cashflow management, finance agreements, treasury facilities, and statutory compliance, leading the budgeting and forecasting processes for the Jarvie Plant Group.

Key Responsibility Areas
  • Manage day-to-day cashflow forecasting and treasury management, ensuring group liquidity and proactive funding control.
  • Oversee finance agreements and banking relationships, securing competitive terms and maintaining accurate facility records.
  • Prepare and present management accounts, KPIs, and financial commentary to the Finance Director and Executive team.
  • Lead budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and capital planning aligned with strategic business objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with VAT, corporate taxes, statutory reporting, and internal financial controls.
  • Support ad hoc projects and continuous improvement initiatives, providing analysis and insight to senior stakeholders.
