The Vacancy

We are looking to recruit an experienced, enthusiastic individual to join our established team. Reporting to our Finance Director, you will oversee investment planning, treasury operations, and financial performance for property-related activities, ensuring compliance and supporting our corporate priorities. Leading a motivated team, you'll drive efficiency through robust budgeting, forecasting, and automation, while partnering across the business to maintain financial strength and excellent customer service.

In addition, we are looking for candidates that have a passion to advocate on behalf of people and communities.

What do our Finance Manager – Treasury and Investment do
  • Manage key financial systems and tools including financial planning models, asset and liability registers, investment appraisals, and cashflow forecasting.
  • Develop and maintain treasury strategy and policies, ensuring liquidity, compliance, and accurate cashflow reporting.
  • Monitor and report on financial performance for growth, investment, and treasury plans, providing variance analysis and recovery plans where needed.
  • Oversee funding and lender relationships, including debt management, covenant compliance, and loan security schedules.
  • Lead financial performance reporting for development and capital investment programmes, delivering robust monthly processes, data integrity, and insightful analysis to support decision‑making and efficiency improvements.
What we are looking for
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA / CIPFA) or Treasury (MCT) – required to be qualified by experience (+5 years in relevant accounting roles).
  • Experience of finance partnering with the development and growth team delivering new build and acquisitions, financial reporting of programme and scheme performance.
  • Experience of working within a regulated sector such as social housing.
  • Ability to lead, motivate and inspire in line with MSV's values and culture.
  • Sound understanding of financial controls, policies and procedures.
  • Thorough knowledge of treasury management.
