A major not-for-profit organization in the City Of London is seeking a Finance Manager to lead a team and manage transactional finance processes. Looking to join a major not-for-profit that’s going through an exciting period of change? Do you have a background in property finance? Could you lead and motivate a small team of Finance Administrators? If yes, please read on!

We’re thrilled to be partnering with this fantastic not-for-profit as they look to appoint a new Finance Manager. Working closely with a knowledgeable and driven Head of Finance, you’ll take on a range of exciting responsibilities, including:

  • Provide direction and support to Finance and Property Management team members, answering a high volume of queries on a daily basis.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, ensuring first class customer service is given at all times.
  • Responsibility for the management of all transactional work related to the charities property portfolio, ensuring that appropriate controls are in place
  • Ensure journals are posted accurately and on time.
  • Review systems and processes suggesting areas for improvements and rolling these out focusing on automation.
  • Carry out analysis for the Head of Finance.
  • Develop and maintain a motivated team and establish and monitor KPI’s and SLA’s.

The permanent Finance Manager will be joining this dedicated team whilst they are embarking on a period of exciting transformation. This role will best suit a forward thinking and determined individual who isn’t phased by change. This position can offered on a mostly remote basis with occasional travel to their east London office.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have a broad experience managing transactional finance processes.
  • Be a first-class communicator with a flair for change management.
  • Feel confident managing a small team.
  • Have excellent customer service skills and the ability to establish excellent internal and external relationships.
  • Describe themselves as highly organised.
