Job summary

A leading construction company in the UK is seeking a Finance Manager in Reading. This role involves managing the production of financial reports, liaising with various departments, and ensuring accurate data integrity. Candidates should be ACA/ACCA or CIMA qualified with at least 5 years of post-qualification experience, and strong Excel skills are essential. Qualifications

  • 5 or more years post-qualification experience.
  • Experience of implementing new processes to improve input quality.
  • Experience of working in the construction sector is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Preparation of management accounts and supporting commentary monthly.
  • Business Partner with Sales, Operations and Commercial to drive performance.
  • Monthly Joint Venture reporting both internally and to JV partners.

Skills

Proven track record in producing concise management information
Very strong knowledge of Excel
Building relationships with commercial teams
Ability to work on own initiative
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Ability to prioritize work to meet deadlines
Strong inter-personal skills for effective communication
Flexibility in approach
Proactive in dealing with issues
Ability to work well in a team

Education

ACA/ACCA or CIMA qualified
