Qualifications

  • ACCA, ACA or CIMA qualification with at least 5 years’ post-qualification experience.
  • Experience in UK Financial Services, ideally within a Financial Control environment.
  • Strong experience with general ledger and reconciliations.
  • Understanding of IFRS and statutory reporting principles.
  • Track record in delivering process improvements.
  • Advanced Excel skills and confidence with MS Office.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

About The Role

About The Role Are you a qualified finance professional with a passion for leading high-performing teams and driving excellence in financial control? We’re looking for a dynamic and inclusive leader to join our Finance team and take ownership of our financial accounting processes, ensuring the integrity of our general ledger and delivering accurate, timely product accounting across all divisions.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Managing and mentoring your team to deliver high-quality financial information and reconciliations.
  • Overseeing product accounting and reporting for all divisions, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
  • Building strong relationships across Finance, Operations, and other key internal stakeholders.
  • Driving process improvements, automation initiatives, and supporting change programmes.
  • Ensuring robust documentation and audit trails for all financial control activities.
  • Supporting system and product implementations, including user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Maintaining performance KPIs and contributing to strategic projects.
What You’ll Bring
  • ACCA, ACA or CIMA qualification with at least 5 years’ post-qualification experience.
  • Proven success in UK Financial Services, ideally within a Financial Control environment.
  • Strong general ledger and reconciliation experience.
  • Solid understanding of IFRS and statutory reporting principles.
  • A track record of delivering process improvements and automation.
  • Advanced Excel skills and confidence using MS Office.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
