Job summary

Howden is seeking a Finance Manager to lead legal entity reporting for circa 25 holding and treasury companies, covering monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting, as well as financial planning during the budgeting cycle. A tech-savvy mindset and strong knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP are essential.

This fixed-term, full-time role is based in our Central London office with a hybrid pattern requiring onsite 2-3 days per week; contract runs until March 2028.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial reporting, general ledger and consolidation systems.
• Knowledge of IFRS 9, IFRS 2 and IFRS 3 accounting treatments.
• Solid IFRS and UK GAAP foundation with practical application.
• Experience leading a team of at least three people.
• Awareness of Companies Act requirements for statutory reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly, quarterly and annual reporting for legal entities.
• Lead month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Coordinate audits and liaise with auditors and internal teams.
• Oversee preparation of statutory accounts (UK and Jersey).
• Lead budgeting and reforecasting for legal entities.
