Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the accuracy of contract liabilities.

  • Conduct period-end reconciliations for investment balance sheet accounts.
  • Maintain and monitor the financial control framework.
  • Build and maintain processes related to rebates.
  • Manage relationships with finance managers.
  • Oversee the Financial Account Review process.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead our team responsible for the accounting and reporting of trade investment (rebates/discounts) across all routes to market in Great Britain. This role will oversee the month-end process, ensuring data consistency, accuracy, and completeness. Additionally, you will manage the day-to-day relationship with Senior Commercial stakeholders, support IT upgrade projects, and lead the external and internal audit processes for investment lines.

Role Responsibilities
  • Ensure the accuracy of the GB contract liabilities
  • Prepare robust and timely period-end accounts for all investment lines across GB, adhering to group reporting deadlines
  • Conduct period-end reconciliations for investment balance sheet accounts with adequate documentation
  • Establish, maintain, and monitor the financial control framework, ensuring compliance with all controls
  • Build and maintain processes related to rebates
  • Reconcile the GB MIP to a trading contribution level by customer
  • Manage the day-to-day relationship with Channel & Brand Finance Managers
  • Oversee the Financial Account Review process, SOPs, Channel Finance, and CDMs
  • Provide financial support and guidance to CDMs/SOPS team as required
Experience and Key Attributes

  • Excellent communication skills to articulate finance concepts to non-finance colleagues
  • Strong stakeholder management abilities
  • Proficiency in MS Office, SAP R3, and SAC
  • Proactive and personable communication style
