Job summary

Lycetts Insurance Brokers, proudly part of Benefact Group, seeks a Finance Manager to join our Newcastle office. This role spans financial reporting, accounting, controls, regulatory compliance, and business partnering within a growing financial services organisation.

Working closely with senior finance leaders, you'll help ensure the accuracy of financial information and support strategic decision-making and continuous improvement across the business. Hybrid working is available after probation.

Qualifications

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification.
• Experience in finance or accounting roles.
• Experience with financial reporting, reconciliations and audits.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Executives, Group Finance, Operational Teams and key stakeholders to provide accurate financial insight and support business decision-making.
• Prepare and review monthly accounts, supporting schedules, and variance analysis to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and help strengthen financial controls and processes.
• Assist with statutory reporting requirements, year-end accounts preparation, and external audit activities; support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning.
