Job summary

Townhouse in London is seeking a hands-on Finance Manager to own finance operations, controls and processes across the business. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will manage Accounts Payable and oversee billing, receivables, intercompany accounting and financial reporting.

You will work closely with Operations, Commercial and Franchise teams in a fast-growing environment, driving improvements, ensuring tax compliance and supporting new salon openings.

Qualifications

• Experience as Finance Manager or senior accountant in a fast-paced business.
• Background in retail, e-commerce, hospitality or consumer environment is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day finance operations including accounts payable and payment runs.
• Manage billing and revenue processes across franchise, SaaS, product and other streams.
• Own accounts receivable, credit control and collections.
• Oversee intercompany accounting, recharges and overseas entities.
• Support cash flow, banking and treasury activities.
• Manage indirect tax compliance including UK VAT and overseas filings.
• Own month-end close including journals, accruals and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support stock and inventory finance processes and stock reconciliations.
• Improve finance processes, controls and efficiency across the function.
• Provide financial insight to Operations, Commercial and Franchise teams.
