Job summary

Old Queen Street Ventures Ltd (OQS Media) is seeking a skilled FP&A professional to lead budgeting and forecasting, perform variance analysis, and provide strategic financial insight across designated business areas in a media environment.

You will develop robust financial models, own monthly reporting, and work with department heads to improve performance while supporting the audit process and annual plans.

Qualifications

• Fully Qualified Accountant with post-qualified experience in accounting, finance or audit.
• Experience in FP&A including budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Strong ability to communicate financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
• End-to-end month-end reporting including balance sheet reconciliation.
• Independence to own areas with limited supervision and strong commercial awareness.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Capacity to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
• Experience in subscription-based media or advertising platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead FP&A activities for designated areas, analysing performance against budget and prior periods.
• Develop financial models and conduct scenario analysis for strategic decisions.
• Provide meaningful commentary and support business decision-making.
• Own monthly reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, and audits for the areas
• Support budgeting, forecasts, and cash flow planning for groups and departments.
• Collaborate with Commercial and other teams to monitor debt collection and reporting.
