The role involves managing financial and management accounting services, including budgeting and reporting. My Local Government client is looking to recruit a qualified Finance Manager to join the team on a permanent basis. Reporting into the Corporate Finance Business Partner, your role will be to manage and deliver timely financial and management accounting services including budgeting, medium- and long-term financial planning, project support, forecasting, in-year financial reporting (including the closure of the annual accounts) and control.
To be considered for the role you will need to be a CCAB qualified accountant with a background in local government finance and experience in resolving complex financial issues as well as budget preparation and financial modelling.
This is a permanent role with some presence each month required in Bristol and a salary of circa 57,000.
