Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking a Finance Manager in Sheffield to oversee the in-house accounting function. Ideal candidates will be ACCA/CIMA qualified or in the latter stages of their qualification, capable of working independently while supporting a small team. Qualifications

  • ACCA/CIMA qualified or latter stages.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and tight timescales.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure finance function contributes positively to client and supplier relationships.
  • Produce monthly MI pack, including review of KPIs and forecasting.
  • Process VAT, payroll and all associated regulatory returns.
  • Provide financial support on key projects.
  • Support external accountants in preparing annual statutory statements.
  • Communicate financial objectives across the business.
  • Design and introduce process automation.
  • Drive efficiency & ROI across the businesses.
  • Strategic planning of financial activities.
