Job summary

Deliveroo, a technology-driven food delivery company, is seeking a Finance Manager for its global reporting team. Based in London (HQ), the role combines monthly and statutory reporting with collaboration across auditors and stakeholders, operating on a hybrid model with three days in the office.

The fixed-term contract runs for 12 months. ACA/ACCA qualification with 2+ years PQE and Netsuite experience are highly desirable, with startup experience a plus.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA or equivalent qualification with at least 2 years post-qualified experience.
• Experience in a finance or reporting function within a startup or high-growth environment is preferred.
• Ability to leverage big data to solve problems and inform decisions.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for month-end reporting processes for the region and specific processes across all group entities.
• Liaise with local Finance & Strategy and operational teams to produce monthly variance analyses and address queries.
• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations, resolving variances and issues identified.
• Prepare statutory accounts for entities in the region in line with local standards.
• Collaborate with external auditors to fulfil requests and respond to queries.
• Support ad hoc projects for the group, including process improvements and automation.

The Role

As a Finance Manager within our global reporting team, you will be involved in the reporting process for your region. This will include monthly and statutory reporting, working with auditors and the wider reporting team, as well as other stakeholders across the business. You will report into the Senior Finance Manager for the region. You will be based in our HQ (London, Cannon Street), and we are operating on a hybrid model where you will be in the office three times a week.

This role is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract.

What you'll be doing:

• Responsible for month-end reporting processes for the region and specific processes across all group entities
• Liaise with the local Finance & Strategy and operational teams to produce monthly variance analysis and address queries
• Preparation and review of balance sheet reconciliations, including resolution of variances and issues identified
• Prepare statutory accounts for individual entities in the region in accordance with local accounting standards
• Work with external auditors to fulfil their requests and answer their queries
• Support certain ad hoc projects for the group, which may relate to our processes and automation

Requirements:

• You will need to be ACA / ACCA or equivalent qualified with at least 2 years of post-qualified experience
• Preferably relevant industry or start up experience
• You will use big data to solve problems
• Netsuite experience is a bonus
