About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented qualified or qualified by experience accountant to join our fast-paced finance team. This role is designed to equally focus on driving continuous improvement initiatives across finance processes and having a part to play in delivering high-quality management accounts and statutory audit support in a PLC environment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about operational excellence, financial integrity, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and support finance transformation projects to streamline processes, reduce inefficiencies, and enhance reporting accuracy. This includes identifying automation opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve end-to-end finance workflows.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for improved processes and controls.
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement within the finance function.
  • Supporting with reviews of management accounts and operational activities, including payment run.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting cycles with accurate financial data and insights.
  • Support junior members within the team.
  • Support the wider team and business.
Qualifications & Experience
  • ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver to deadlines.
  • Exposure to IFRS reporting and a PLC environment useful, but not essential.
  • Xero experience preferred, but not essential.
