Are you looking for a progressive Finance Manager role? This is an office-based role in Bolton. You will be joining a welcoming team that provides a first-class maintenance, repair, and installation service to a wide variety of sectors across the UK for Automatic Gates, Barriers, Roller Shutters, Automatic Doors, Turnstiles, Speed Lanes, Bollards, Blockers, Perimeter Fencing and associated Access Control System. Finance Managers will receive a basic salary up to £45,000 plus benefits.

As an Finance Manager, your role will include: This role will work closely with the Board to provide financial reporting, robust processes payroll, payment authorisations and offer a strong hands‑on approach.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and co‑coordinate preparation, review, and providing insights on management accounts.
  • Perform reconciliation, analysis, and commentary for balance sheet accounts.
  • Assist with the preparation of management information and analysis.
  • Contribute to year‑end audit preparations and support.
  • Manage monthly, quarterly VAT/PAYE/CIS and other similar tax return routines.
  • Input and support in the annual budget process.
  • Preparation of year‑end statutory accounts and simple corporation tax computations.
  • Support with budgets and forecasts as required, including project cashflow forecasts.
  • Develop and document internal / system controls and cross‑departmental processes.
  • Offer support and input into purchase/debtors/creditors ledger.
  • Support when required the integration, accounting, and reporting of group entities.
Qualifications
  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification.
  • This role would suit someone coming out of Practice and into the Industry for the first time OR someone already in the Industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge.
  • Ability to work as part of a close‑knit team.
  • Someone with ambitions to progress their career.
  • A well‑rounded individual, capable of working with people at all levels within an organisation and be able to build strong relationships with external parties.
