Leigh Academies Trust invites applications for a Finance Manager to deliver a comprehensive financial service to the Principals across multiple academies. The role focuses on budgeting, forecasting and providing strategic financial guidance within the Trust’s policy framework.

The successful candidate will split their week between Leigh Academy Blackheath and Leigh Academy Halley, with one day per week work from home, enabling blended working and continued professional growth.

Formación

• Experience working in a school/academy environment is strongly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to budget and forecast.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets and computerised accounting software.

Responsabilidades

• Provide comprehensive financial management for the academies within the Leigh Academies Trust.
• Act as budgetary advisor to Principals on finance-related issues.
• Ensure alignment with Trust financial policies and processes.

Are you an experienced Finance Manager with prior experience of working within a school/academy environment, considering a new professional adventure? Leigh Academies Trust has the opportunity for a qualified and credible finance professional to join our team in this pivotal role. Our successful candidate will join us as soon as possible, offering a comprehensive financial service to the Principals from the off-set. Acting as the budgetary advisor to the Principals on all finance-related issues, you will be responsible for the financial management within the academies, ensuring that it complies with the requirements of the Trust's financial policies and processes.

This opportunity is ideal for a candidate who is seeking progression and further responsibility in their career, and looking to join a highly successful multi-academy trust.

This role has the responsibility between the following academies:

• Leigh Academy Blackheath
• Leigh Academy Halley

This is a permanent, full time opportunity offering a salary of £50,106 per annum. Our successful candidate will have a blended working schedule, spending 2 days per week at Leigh Academy Blackheath, 2 days per week at Leigh Academy Halley, and 1 day working from home.

Actual Salary £20,157 per annum (£27,747 full time equivalent)
