Job summary

Accountable Recruitment are partnering with a well-established and growing commercial business in Liverpool City Centre to recruit a Finance Manager.

This exciting role offers exposure across management accounts, commercial finance and business partnering, with a small finance team and opportunities to drive improvements within a forward-thinking environment. The role involves maintaining financial controls, cashflow management and supporting growth strategies through accurate reporting.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACA/ACCA/CIMA or QBE.
• Experience in industry or a fast-paced commercial environment.
• Confident with Excel and finance systems (Sage advantageous).
• Highly organised, proactive and able to manage competing deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail with the confidence to challenge where needed.
• Effective communicator, comfortable working with stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Ensure financial records are accurate, with regular balance sheet reconciliations.
• Manage cashflow and oversee debt, including resolving complex issues.
• Support ambitious MD with growth strategy.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and financial planning.
• Tax, VAT processes.
• Drive continuous improvement through process enhancements and projects.
