Join a growing business and play a key role in shaping our financial future!

Epco Ltd, part of the MegaGroup, is looking for a proactive and driven Finance Manager to join our team in Leeds. You’ll take the lead on financial operations for two UK subsidiaries – Epco (Leeds) and Plimat (Southampton) – while working closely with our UK Finance Manager and Group Finance team. (No travel to Southampton required.)

This is an exciting time to join Epco, as we’re expanding to a brand-new warehouse. You’ll be a key stakeholder in supporting this growth and ensuring smooth financial planning and execution during the transition.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and post monthly accruals, prepayments, and other accounting entries for two subsidiaries.
  • Perform variance analysis and present month-end results to the UK Finance Manager.
  • Conduct monthly balance sheet reviews and present findings to the CFO, Group FC, and UK Finance Manager.
  • Provide weekly sales and margin reports.
  • Deliver weekly cash flow forecasts to our central treasury team in the Netherlands.
  • Act as the main point of contact for external auditors.
  • Lead and support the team handling VAT and HMRC processes.
  • Identify potential risks, propose solutions, and manage stakeholder expectations effectively.
What you’ll bring
  • Qualified (ACCA/CIMA) or qualified by experience.
  • A proactive, self-motivated attitude – you take initiative and make things happen.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS tools.
  • Experience in an SME environment is a plus.
  • Experience with Sage and/or D365 is desirable.
