Job summary

Lely Center Holsworthy is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to oversee our finance function across two locations in the UK. This hands-on leadership role ensures accurate, complete and timely financial information through to management accounts, while maintaining robust controls and supporting business growth.

You will lead the finance team, manage monthly reporting, payroll, VAT, and year-end processes, and drive improvements in systems and procedures to enable informed decision-making

Qualifications

• Must have experience in a finance leadership, supervisory, or senior finance role.
• Strong understanding of management accounts, financial controls, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Experience overseeing payroll, VAT returns, purchase ledger, and payment processes.

Pay: £40,000.00-£55,000.00 per year

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop the finance team across two locations.
• Oversee monthly management accounts and financial reporting.
• Manage month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Review and approve supplier invoices and payment runs.
• Oversee payroll and wage processing.

About You:

• Proven experience in a finance leadership, supervisory, or senior finance role.
• Strong understanding of management accounts, financial controls, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Experience overseeing payroll, VAT returns, purchase ledger, and payment processes.
• ACCA, CIMA, or ACA qualified/part-qualified, or qualified by experience.
• Strong Excel and ERP/accounting system skills.
• Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing priorities.
• Excellent communication and people management skills.
