About the Role

Reporting directly to the company's senior leadership, you'll play a pivotal role in managing the day-to-day financial activities of the business while contributing to its long-term strategic growth. You'll oversee all aspects of financial control, reporting, and forecasting, ensuring that the company's commercial and operational decisions are underpinned by robust financial insight.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing the full finance function including management accounts, cash flow, and forecasting.
• Preparing monthly reports, budgets, and financial statements.
• Providing commercial analysis to support project and company-wide decisions.
• Overseeing subcontractor and supplier payments in line with contractual obligations.
• Managing VAT, CIS, PAYE, and compliance with HMRC regulations.
• Liaising closely with directors, quantity surveyors, and project managers to ensure cost control and profitability.
• Leading and mentoring a small finance team, fostering a proactive and professional culture.
