Job summary

Quantexa is seeking an ambitious Finance Manager to join our Financial Reporting team, helping ensure accurate international financial reporting and robust controls. You will support month-end close, own accounts payable, and lead project accounting within a fast-growing tech organisation.

The role requires a professional accounting qualification, advanced Excel skills, and experience building cash flow models with banking partners.

Qualifications

• Professional accounting qualification (CIMA/ACCA or equivalent).
• Operational finance experience with ownership of AP, cash management and month-end processes.
• Hands-on cash flow modelling and forecasting with banking partners.
• Advanced Excel and spend tracking at project or initiative level.
• Experience leading and developing people within an operational finance team.

Responsibilities

• Support the Month-End close with accruals, prepayments and reconciliations.
• Lead end-to-end accounts payable processes and ensure timely payments with controls.
• Own project accounting, allocate costs and report to stakeholders.
• Oversee Travel & Expenses policies and systems, drive compliance and cost control.
• Contribute to treasury with cash flow models and banking relationships.

As we continue to grow globally, we’re looking for an ambitious and detail-oriented Finance Manager to join our Financial Reporting team, playing an important role in supporting accurate financial reporting across our growing international business.

Задачи:

• Support the Month-End: Play a key role in the month-end close alongside the Group Reporting team, owning accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations for your areas, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Lead Accounts Payable: Own the end-to-end accounts payable process, from supplier onboarding and invoice processing to payment runs, ensuring suppliers are paid accurately and on time with robust controls in place.
• Own Project Accounting: Track the financial performance of specific initiatives, ensuring costs are captured, allocated and reported correctly, and providing clear insight to project stakeholders.
• Manage Travel & Expenses: Oversee travel spend and the travel and expense systems used across the business, maintaining clear policies, driving compliance and identifying opportunities to control costs.
• Strengthen Our Treasury Function: Contribute to the treasury function by building and maintaining cash flow models, producing cash reporting and forecasts, and managing our day-to-day banking relationships.

• A professional accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA or equivalent)
• Proven experience in an operational finance role, with hands-on ownership of accounts payable, cash management and month-end processes.
• Hands-on experience building cash flow models and forecasts, and working directly with banking partners.
• Advanced Excel capabilities and experience tracking and reporting spend at a project or initiative level.
• Experience managing and developing people and resources within an operational finance team, with excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
