Job summary

Reed Finance is partnering with a Glasgow-based organisation to recruit a Finance Manager. The role leads day-to-day accounting, overseeing a multi-level finance team and ensuring timely, compliant reporting backed by robust controls.

You will drive process improvements, support budgeting and reforecasting, and contribute to business decisions with strong technical accounting knowledge and leadership capabilities.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified ACA or ACCA with UK GAAP knowledge.
• Experience in a similar accounting/finance leadership role.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.

Salary: GBP55000 - GBP65000 per annum

Reed Finance is working in partnership with a Glasgow based organisation to recruit aFinance Manager to join their finance function. This is a fantastic opportunity for a technically strong and people focused accountant to step into a leadership role with broad exposure across the business.

Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you will take responsibility for overseeing the day-to-day running of the accounting function, ensuring financial information is accurate, compliant and delivered on time. This is a hands-on management role where you’ll lead multiple teams, drive improvements in processes and controls and play a key part in supporting wider business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the production of monthly, quarterlyand annual management accounts
• Ensure all reporting is delivered in line with UK accounting standards and internal deadlines
• Lead and develop a multi-level finance team, including Management Accountants and Finance staff
• Strengthen and maintain robust financial controls across the function
• Develop, refineand document accounting policies and procedures
• Support the budgeting and reforecasting cycles
• Identify opportunities to enhance processes, systemsand reporting capabilities

About You

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA)
• Strong technical grounding in UK GAAP
• Proven experience within a similar accounting role, including team leadership
• Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail
