Holden Jones are representing an FMCG brand to recruit a hands on Finance Manager to cover a sole charge accounting role, supporting the UK & EMEA Managing Director. The role is end to end from ledger entries to management accounting and presentation to the local management team as well as the overseas Group HQ.

  • Monthly and Quarterly management accounts
  • Support with the business planning, implementation of strategy, key decision making
  • Budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, reporting
  • Processing sales invoices, credit notes and allocating cash
  • Maintaining the purchase ledger, coding and posting supplier invoices through to payment
  • Reconciling supplier statements
  • Accounting for fixed assets, with depreciation entries
  • Bank reconciliation
  • Quarterly VAT returns
  • Responsible for statutory audits and filing of returns including tax returns
  • Payroll and HMRC processes

Suitable applicants will be qualified by experience with a number of years' covering all aspects of day to days accounting for small to medium sized businesses. You will be comfortable doing the day to day tasks but also be able to provide financial support to the MD and Sales, Marketing and Supply Chain functions. Exposure to an ERP system would be ideal as well as having worked within a product driven environment. Good benefits including parking, healthcare and bonus. The role is an office based.
