Hilton Foods APAC in Truganina, VIC is seeking a Finance Manager to lead the site finance function and shape financial and commercial performance. You will work closely with operations and commercial teams, delivering insight, challenge and analysis to drive better business decisions.

The role goes beyond monthly reporting; you will lead budgeting, forecasting, costing and capital expenditure, partnering on cost savings, business cases and improvement initiatives to optimise profitability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of finance experience in a complex/manufacturing environment.
• CA or CPA qualification required.
• Degree in Business, Commerce, Finance or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead the site finance function and a team of finance professionals.
• Provide commercial insight across profitability, costs, pricing and performance.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, standard costing and capital expenditure processes.

We're looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join our team and play a key role in shaping the financial and commercial performance of our manufacturing operation.

This is more than reporting and month-end. You'll work closely with our operational and commercial teams, providing the insight, challenge and analysis that helps drive better business decisions.

What you'll be doing

• Lead the site finance function and a team of finance professionals

What you'll bring

You'll be a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys being close to the operation and making a tangible impact.

You'll ideally have:

• 5+ years' finance experience, preferably within a complex or manufacturing environment
• CA or CPA qualification
• Degree in Business, Commerce, Finance or a related discipline
• Strong commercial accounting, modelling and analytical capability
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, costing and profitability analysis
• Experience working with large ERP systems and advanced Excel/modelling skills
• The confidence to influence stakeholders at all levels and challenge the status quo
