Finance Manager

Salary: 60,000-70,000 per annum

Location: Remote role with travel to London once/twice a month

Contract: Permanent

The Company

Sellick Partnership Finance is working with a profitable PE-Backed 20m turnover leisure business with ambitious growth plans over the next 2-3 years. They are looking for a Finance Manager to support the Head of Finance and build out their analytics capability, who can ideally start early 2026.

The Finance Manager Role

Standard finance management responsibilities with a significant focus on data analytics and Power BI reporting. You'll handle management accounts in Xero while building dashboards and reports that inform business decisions across departments.

Responsibilities that come with the Finance Manager role:
  • Managing month-end close and producing management accounts in Xero
  • Building Power BI dashboards and reports from scratch to track performance across all departments
  • Supporting budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
  • Creating Excel models for scenario planning and financial analysis
  • Partnering with operational teams to provide commercial advice and support strategic decisions
  • Coordinating year-end audits and ensuring statutory compliance
  • Driving process improvements as the business scales
Experience required for the Finance Manager role:

Essential:

  • ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified with 3-5 years PQE
  • Strong management accounting background
  • Advanced Excel and Power BI skills - building dashboards and reports from scratch
  • Experience with Xero or similar cloud platforms
  • Able to work independently in a remote setup
  • Can communicate financial information clearly to non-finance teams

Desirable:

  • Tech sector experience
  • Scaling business background
  • Systems/ systems implementation experience
