Job description

• Proactively partner with the Heads of Departments to explore ways to improve financial performance by providing insightful reporting, support and recommendations
• Work with the Accounts Director to promote and build a strong financial control environment across all locations, ensuring location teams are complying with appropriate company policies and implementing corrective measures where necessary
• Take responsibility for the monthly completion of trading accounts
• Produce period end variance analysis, review trading accounts and support period end review process with commentary and insightful reporting
• Take ownership for accurate client and company forecasts and budgets, including presenting at our quarterly board meetings to clients on our financial performance.
• Liaise directly with our Senior Heads of Departments for any financial data and analysis they may need to assist and strengthen their ongoing projects and proposals.
• Carry out financial audits on site and advise on financial process best practice
• Follow up on sites that fail financial health check audits with a visit and suitable support and advice
• Provide financial training and support, for a team of 2 in the Finance team, leading and mentoring them
