Qualifications

  • Part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) - or equivalent experience.
  • Solid grounding in SME finance operations.
  • Exposure to acquisitions, integration's, or multi-entity reporting is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing end-to-end finance operations (AP, AR, management accounts, reconciliations, VAT).
  • Delivering accurate monthly management accounts and maintaining strong balance sheet controls.
  • Acting as the finance lead during integrations, standardising reporting and processes across entities.
  • Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and year-end audit preparation.
  • Leading finance work streams for future acquisitions, including due diligence and on boarding.
  • Driving process improvements and systems harmonisation to enhance efficiency.

Finance Manager

Salary- £50,000 to £58,000

This position is a hands-on Finance Manager position that is responsible for leading the financial integration of newly acquired businesses.

As Finance Manager, you'll take ownership of the day-to-day finance operations for newly acquired entities ensuring smooth on boarding and accurate reporting. You'll be the main finance contact, working closely with their leadership teams and Finance Director to deliver seamless integration.

Key responsibilities:

  • Overseeing end-to-end finance operations (AP, AR, management accounts, reconciliations, VAT).
