Tempting Recruitment are working alongside our client, a Local Council, who are looking for a Finance Manager to join their team in Bristol.

Position: Finance Manager

Salary: £57,446

Location: Bristol (Hybrid)

Work Type: Permanent

Job Description

• Budget preparation and analyse/monitor complex budgets.
• Produce and and analyse complex financial reports.
• Support the optimisation of effective finance systems.
• Complete statutory accounts.
• Hold responsibility for the management of resource allocation as well as the mentoring of and development of junior staff members.

The Successful Candidate

• CCAB qualification (or equivalent) with relevant PQE.
• Previous experience of resolving technical accountancy issues and ensuring resources are used to maximise service output.
• Strong understanding of a varying range of financial matters with experience of dealing with stakeholders.
• Local government risk experience.
