Overview

We're excited to be working alongside one of our valued clients in the search for a Finance Manager to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a finance professional to take a hands-on, strategic role within a well-established and respected business.

As Finance Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind the financial health and operational efficiency of the business. From daily financial operations to long-term strategic planning, you’ll play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and growth across multiple companies.

Responsibilities

• Continuously identify and implement improvements to streamline financial processes, enhance accuracy, and drive efficiency.
• Work closely with external accountants to support smooth and timely completion of year-end accounts and corporation tax returns.
• Monitor and manage cash flow across multiple entities, optimising working capital and helping to mitigate financial risks.
• Take ownership of financial records including ledgers and journals. Oversee supplier accounts, payments, customer balances, credit control, and routine bank reconciliations.
• Manage the full spectrum of financial operations, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations. Deliver clear, timely financial reporting and insights.

Qualifications

Our client is seeking a finance professional qualified to AAT Level 4 (or equivalent), with a solid foundation in accounting principles. Experience using Xero is highly desirable and will be a strong advantage in this role. Just as important are strong analytical skills, a problem-solving mindset, and the ability to work collaboratively while taking initiative in a fast-paced environment.
