Michael Page is recruiting a Finance Lead for a small independent Parliamentary body in London. The role is hybrid with a London office presence one day per week.
You will manage day-to-day finance, provide timely financial advice to the Director of Corporate Services, senior stakeholders and budget holders, and produce monthly accounts, forecasts and MI for committees.
Reporting to the Director of Corporate Services, the Finance Lead role is responsible for ensuring the financial operations runs smoothly whilst overseeing budgets, forecasting, financial accounting and performing business partnering. The role is a hybrid position with 1 day a week attendance in their London office.

The Finance Lead will manage the organisation's day-to-day finance function and provide timely, accurate and accessible financial advice to the Director of Corporate Services, senior stakeholders and budget holders.
Your duties will include:
The successful Finance Lead will ideally be CCAB Qualified, Finalist studier or qualified by experience with significant exposure to financial reporting, budgeting forecasting and financial management.
It is essential that you can demonstrate strong business partnering experience with good communication skills.
A background in the public sector is preferred, but not essential.
Please note, there is a small element of processing financial transactions which you will be required to perform each month.
A salary of £47,278 plus a benefits package which includes the opportunity to join the Civil Service Pension Scheme, 28 days holiday, hybrid working where you will be expected to attend the office around 2-4 times a month only.
