Job summary

Tesco is offering a finance-focused programme at our Welwyn Garden City campus. The role develops financial expertise while contributing to budgeting, forecasting, and annual reporting.

You’ll learn to solve business challenges with data, supported throughout, and work with various Tesco groups, including local partners. Expect a hybrid working pattern with on-site collaboration and remote work, as Tesco supports flexible arrangements while developing your potential in a large multinational

Qualifications

• Interest in working with numbers or solving problems.
• Clear communication — especially when sharing ideas or explaining your thinking.
• No prior experience with tools like Tableau or SQL needed; training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Use financial data to build proposals and forecasts to influence stakeholders.
• Work with Tesco Group and build relationships with stakeholders (e.g., Booker, Ireland, One Stop).
• Review how we can automate and simplify processes to enhance ways of working.
• Analyse data to drive store improvements, craft annual budgets, or contribute to our yearly report.

Working at our Welwyn Garden City campus Our leafy, green campus is just 10 minutes’ walk from the centre of Welwyn Garden City with its many shops, restaurants, pubs and sports facilities.
