Job summary

Anderson Knight represents a client in a retained search for a Head of Finance, a high impact leadership role responsible for shaping the finance function, strengthening controls and providing commercial insight to drive growth and performance.

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will lead a multi-site finance team, ensure robust governance, and deliver timely reporting, MI and strategic financial plans that enable informed decisions and long-term success.

Qualifications

• CA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent professional qualification.
• Significant senior finance leadership experience.
• Strong technical accounting, reporting and financial control expertise.
• Proven experience improving finance processes, controls and systems.
• Excellent commercial acumen and analytical capability.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• A proactive, hands on approach with the ability to influence and drive change.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement finance strategy aligned with growth objectives.
• Provide strategic financial leadership and support to senior stakeholders.
• Lead financial accounting, reporting and control activities.
• Own management accounts, P&L for business units and variance analysis.
• Drive cashflow forecasting, working capital management and governance.
• Lead finance process improvements and system enhancements.
• Coach and develop the finance team and partner with other functions.
