Job summary

Trinity House Group in the Midlands is seeking a Finance Director for a fast-growing, PE-backed business with an active buy-and-build strategy.

You will own financial control and reporting, lead due diligence for acquisitions, and act as a true commercial partner to the CEO and leadership team, with a path to CFO readiness within 12–18 months. This is a hybrid, home-based Midlands role with genuine equity upside and a clear exit trajectory.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACA, ACCA or CIMA designation.
• Experience in PE-backed or transaction-driven environments is preferred.
• Strong accuracy, rigour and a commercial mindset.

Responsibilities

• Own financial control and reporting across the business.
• Lead due diligence for acquisitions and support integration.
• Partner with the CEO and leadership team to drive commercial decisions.
• Prepare for CFO readiness within 12–18 months.
