Job summary

Zilch is seeking a Finance Director to lead the finance function at the highest level, reporting to the SVP of Finance. The role blends strategic oversight with hands-on management of complex accounting, audit and cash matters to ensure governance, accuracy and timely information for senior leadership and the Board.

Qualifications

• Qualified CA with post-qualification leadership experience.
• Strong accounting knowledge including IFRS; US GAAP is a plus.
• Experience in external reporting, audits and cash management in regulated environments.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders at leadership or board level.
• Experience leading finance workstreams for corporate transactions (M&A, fundraising).

Responsibilities

• Act as a senior finance partner to ExCo and the SVP of Finance, ensuring clear ownership and timely decision support.
• Lead finance preparation and execution support for major corporate transactions, including capital raises and acquisitions.
• Oversee External Reporting & Audit, ensuring governance, documentation and robust processes.
• Provide oversight of treasury, capital management and funding discussions with senior leadership.
• Drive continuous improvement in audit readiness, reporting integrity and system enhancements.
