The Role

Reporting to the UK CEO, you’ll lead and develop the finance function across multiple business units, ensuring robust financial management, governance, and compliance. You’ll play a key role in driving performance improvement, supporting growth initiatives, and leading the financial due diligence and integration of newly acquired entities as part of an active M&A strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead all financial operations across the group, ensuring timely and accurate consolidated reporting under IFRS.
  • Develop a scalable finance organisation, embedding best practice processes and systems.
  • Partner with senior leadership to deliver clear business plans, forecasts, and performance insights.
  • Drive continuous improvement in ROIC, working capital, and profitability.
  • Lead financial due diligence, integration, and post-acquisition processes for new acquisitions.
  • Strengthen governance, controls, and risk management across the group.
  • Oversee project accounting, pricing analysis, and revenue recognition (IFRS 15).
About You
  • Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent) with significant post-qualification experience.
  • Proven track record in a senior finance leadership role, ideally as a CFO or Finance Director.
  • Strong background in multi-entity consolidation and reporting under IFRS and UK GAAP.
  • Experience in software, technology, or a related sector.
  • Confident leading M&A financial due diligence and integration.
  • Hands-on, energetic, and pragmatic - equally comfortable operating strategically and at detail level.
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to influence at all levels.
What’s on Offer
  • Competitive salary and benefits package.
  • The opportunity to join one of the world’s fastest-growing software groups.
  • A collaborative, learning-driven environment with strong support for professional development.
  • The chance to make a meaningful impact on a portfolio of growing technology businesses.
