Responsibilities
- Lead financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance processes.
- Provide financial insight and leadership to support growth and sustainability.
- Lead the finance team, ensuring effective financial management and governance across the charity.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting to support operational and strategic decision-making.
- Maintain and enhance financial systems, processes, and internal controls.
- Provide clear financial guidance to senior leaders and trustees.
- Support long‑term planning and strategic initiatives through financial insight and analysis.
- Be hands‑on in day‑to‑day financial operations, with a proactive and practical approach.
- Demonstrate strong technical accounting skills and attention to detail.
- Utilise and optimise Microsoft Dynamics to improve reporting, efficiency, and financial accuracy.

Our client is a respected national charity with a complex financial operation and multiple funding streams.
The Successful Applicant
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
- Experiene in commercial finance and charity or not-for-profit finance.
- Microsoft Dynamics to improve reporting, efficiency, and financial accuracy.
- Proven track record in a Director of Finance or senior finance leadership role.
- Strong financial planning, analysis, and reporting skills.
- Excellent communicator, able to present complex financial information to non‑financial stakeholders.
