Leonardo UK Ltd invites applicants to join a Finance Business Degree Apprenticeship in the UK. The program covers multiple finance areas through rotations, with paid training and support for academic progression.

Successful candidates will gain practical experience and work with integrated teams across the organization. You will rotate through accounts payable, treasury, management & project accounting and tax functions, while pursuing professional qualifications to advance your career

Qualifications

• Three A Levels (A*-C) including English, Maths or a Business related subject OR an alternative Level 3 qualification with a business subject
• GCSE Maths and English (Grade 4-9 / A*-C)
• Strong numerical ability and good interpersonal/communication skills

What you’ll do during your Finance Business Degree Apprenticeship

Your apprenticeship will cover many areas of the finance function on a rotation basis, where you will gain knowledge about the different aspects of the finance role in a large organization.

Experience in understanding functions such as accounts payable, treasury, management & project accounting and knowledge of our tax functions will provide valuable insights into how and why the finance function is a core attribute to any organization. This will allow the individual to become valued members of Integrated teams and contribute to the overall success of the business.

During your apprenticeship you will also be required to obtain professional qualifications to support your career development.

What we need from you

3 x A Levels (A*- C) one of which must be English, Maths or a Business related subject OR An alternative Level 3 qualification, which must be a business-related subject AND GCSE (Grade 4 - 9 / A*- C) in Maths and English

Salary

£23,500

During your Apprenticeship we encourage you to spend at least 3/4 days a week on site to integrate with your team and maximise your learning experience.

Security Clearance

At Leonardo, many of our roles are subject to security and export control restrictions set by UK Government Security requirements and customer obligations. As a result, and in line with the UK Government Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) requirements, all successful applicants will be asked to provide evidence of identity, eligibility to work in the UK, criminal record declaration information and employment and/or education history verification for the previous five years.

For staff operating in more sensitive posts, there is an additional range of personnel security controls referred to as National Security Vetting (NSV). As part of this process, a range of factors may be considered, including an individual's background, travel history, nationality, previous nationalities held and other information relevant to the vetting assessment.

To be eligible for National Security Vetting at SC level, applicants will generally be expected to have continuously resided in the UK for the previous five years. For DV clearance, this is typically ten years. In some circumstances, time spent overseas may be accepted, with additional overseas checks. Additional vetting requirements may apply upon appointment.
