Overview

We are seeking an experienced professional to support an Accounting System Transformation project and HMRC compliance initiative within a London-based operation.

The project has been established to enhance financial reporting capabilities and prepare for HMRC transfer pricing-related reporting requirements.

This role combines financial analysis, accounting systems knowledge, reporting design, and project delivery responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Support and drive accounting system transformation initiatives

• Collect, validate, and analyse data from multiple sources

• Define reporting requirements and reporting frameworks

• Design and improve financial reporting processes

• Identify and implement process improvement opportunities

• Support HMRC-related reporting and compliance activities

• Coordinate with stakeholders across Finance, IT, and business functions

Required Skills

Data Analysis

• Experience analysing data from multiple systems and sources

• Data quality validation and reconciliation experience

• Reporting requirements gathering experience

Accounting Knowledge

• Understanding of financial and accounting reporting

• Experience working with financial data

• Experience using accounting systems

Project Delivery

• Ability to work independently and proactively

• Strong stakeholder management capability

• Ability to operate at Manager level and drive initiatives forward

Preferred Skills

• Banking or Financial Services experience

• Tax-related experience
