About Our Client

Our client is a well-established, highly respected business operating within the architecture industry. Operating as part of a mid-sized team, they focus on delivering high-quality services and maintaining strong financial practices to support their business objectives.

Job Description

  • Record daily financial transactions in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Support month-end close activities, including accruals, reconciliations, and coordination with management.
  • Collaborate with the external payroll provider to manage the UK payroll process, ensuring accuracy and timely submission, with a view to taking full ownership in the future.
  • Oversee payroll for a small Middle East team (6-10 employees), working closely with local accountants to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Act as a liaison with external accountants as directed by the CFO.
  • Assist with VAT and tax filings, ensuring full compliance with UK regulations.
  • Maintain accurate financial records, including invoices, receipts, and payment documentation.


The Successful Applicant

  • Over 2 years of experience in finance, bookkeeping, or accounting roles.
  • Solid bookkeeping expertise with a strong understanding of accounting principles.
  • Experience working in international or multi-entity environments, ideally including operations in the Middle East.
  • Holds relevant financial qualifications.
  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organisational abilities.
  • Capable of working independently while managing multiple priorities effectively.
  • Fluent in both English and Arabic at a professional level.
