Job summary

Recruitment Solutions are partnering with an International Group to appoint a Finance Controller who will report to the Managing Director. The role requires a proactive, commercially-minded FC with drive, energy and vision to propel the business to the next growth phase.

The successful candidate can be ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified or be a Qualified by Experience, with responsibility for group reporting, budgeting, payroll, and stakeholder liaison across UK, Europe, India and USA.

Qualifications

• Qualified ACCA/ACA/CIMA or Qualified by Experience.
• Experience in financial controls and group reporting desirable.
• Strong commercial awareness and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Year End Accounts Preparation and liaison with external accountants.
• Prepare Board reports including Cashflow, Debtors and Creditors.
• Prepare detailed Monthly Management Accounts across the Group.
• Produce detailed analysis including Stock, Assets and Controls.
• Balance Sheet reporting and reconciliation.
• Prepare Payroll – Weekly and Monthly.
• Manage ad hoc projects and stakeholder relationships with banks, suppliers and others.

Recruitment Solutions are pleased to be partnering with our Client to appoint a Finance Controller to report to the MD of this International Group of Companies.

Trading for over 30 years the MD is looking for a proactive commercially experienced FC who has drive / energy / vision and passion continue in the success story of the business and at the same time that can take the business and its staff on the next leg of the journey. As the FC you can be Qualified ACCA / ACA / CIMA or Qualified by Experience.

The Group trades across the UK / Europe / India and USA – there are opportunities to travel – but this is not an essential.

Your Key Focus Areas as the Financial Controller will be

• Year End Accounts Preparation – building a mutually beneficial relationship with the External Accountants
• Preparation of a range of Reports for the Board to include Cashflow / Debtors and Creditors
• Preparation of detailed Monthly Management Accounts – across the Group
• Preparation of detailed Analysis to include Stock / Assets and Controls
• Balance Sheet Reporting and Reconciliation
• Preparation of Payroll – Weekly and Monthly
• Ad hoc Projects and Strong Relationship Management across a range of Stakeholders including Bank / Suppliers / Chamber of Commerce etc.

WHAT IS ON OFFER AS THE NEXT FINANCE CONTROLLER

• Annual Salary of c £65,000 – £80,000 dependent on DOE / Qualification
