A professional regulatory body in the UK is seeking passionate individuals for the Finance Committee to oversee financial activities and support governance. This is a voluntary, unremunerated role, requiring approximately three online meetings per year, with expenses reimbursed for any necessary face-to-face meetings.

We are the Association for Nutrition (AfN) – the independent regulator for Registered Nutritionists and a registered charity. Our mission is to protect and benefit the public by maintaining the UK Voluntary Register of Nutritionists (UKVRN) – a register of competent, qualified professionals who meet our rigorous standards for evidence‑based nutrition practice.
The Finance Committee is a sub‑committee of the AfN Council. It plays a vital role in overseeing, scrutinising and challenging the organisation’s financial activities, and provides assurance to the Council on financial matters.
